Kameron Campbell : CERAMICS, MIXED MEDIA, DRAWING & PAINTING

Kameron Campbell is synonymous with “crooked nose” in Gaelic. It also translates to Graphic Artist, Color Theorist, and chief creature at Creative Creatures & Co., a young artist collective in Southern California. Kameron received her Bachelors of Arts Degree from California State University, Long beach and has since travelled the world, lived in New York City, and worked with talented artists and designers along the way. She believes in sustainable, beautiful art practices and is inspired by the mark-makings of P. Klee and Picasso. She now resides in Southern California, where her passion is focused on instilling creative confidence in children through the artistic endeavors of Creative Creatures & Co.

Katie Hopkins : CERAMICS, MIXED MEDIA, DRAWING & PAINTING

Katie graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a B.S. in Art Education and a concentration in Painting and Drawing. Hopkins currently teaches with Creative Creatures in Southern California, utilizing the Reggio Emilio approach to education. Working with young artists has influenced her artistic approach and challenges Hopkins to view art through an alternate lens.

CYNTHIA CORADO : CERAMICS & PAINTING 

Cynthia is a graduate of UC Irvine with her BA in Art History and Psychology. She has experience teaching after school art classes in a variety of mediums including ceramics, illustration, painting and mixed media. She also has experience as a therapist, using arts, technology, gardening, and sensory therapy to help individuals learn and achieve their goals.

CLARISSA BUTLER : PRINTMAKING & PAINTING

Clarissa holds a B.A. in Fine Arts with concentrations in Art, Communications + Fashion and completed school painting the landscapes and studying the Art of Italy. She loves all executions of art and design. As the Creative Director at CB Creative Agency, she works with a number of artists, photographers and designers, to curate art, interior design and brands across all platforms. She’s always travelling and exploring the outdoors, gaining perspective at galleries and museums, or taking any number of classes to develop her craft. Printmaking and color theory are her primary focus, and she loves the multiple ways to explore and execute drawings and color relationships through the ancient medium. The tedious nature and surprise of the craft allows for endless discovery and she loves the never-ending possibilities it allows, and sharing that passion for discovery with her students.

CHELSEA CALKINS : DRAWING, PAINTING & MIXED MEDIA

Chelsea is an artist who works in a variety of mediums including drawing, painting, and graphic design. She graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Studio Arts from Biola University and has since continued to expand her work as an artist by exploring installation design, hand-lettering, and illustration. Since she was young, she has always found ways to create using whatever is around her. She finds joy in working with her hands, collaborating with others, and getting lost in the details.

SAMANTHA WOO : ANIMATION & ILLUSTRATION

Samantha Woo was born and raised in lovely Southern California and received her BFA in Illustration at Laguna College of Art + Design. Her passion is shared between telling simple, yet poignant stories through her illustrations and making art for people in the form of greeting cards, paper goods, and art prints. Although she currently prefers to work with digital media, her artistic roots lay in traditional mediums, such as charcoal and graphite, gouache, and watercolor. She may be an illustrator and designer on the outside, but she’s very much a cat lady on the inside.

KASEY MURRAY : DRAWING & PAINTING

Kasey is a skilled artist trained in various mediums such as drawing, painting, photography and installation. She received her BFA in Drawing and Painting at California State University of Fullerton and plans on attending graduate school in the near future. Originally a Southern California native, she has lived and travelled throughout Spain to study art history and Spanish culture. Her works are playful yet telling abstractions describing her perspectives as a mother/female. Working as a creative creature she loves the idea of sparking or furthering children’s appreciation for the art making process.

PAIGE EMERY : DRAWING, PAINTING & PRINTMAKING

PaigeEmery is a Los Angeles based artist with her Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts from Laguna College of Art and Design. While specializing in figurative oil paintings, Paige also works with printmaking, sculpture, & drawing. In addition to showing her work in galleries around Southern California, Paige has multiple works of public art on display around Los Angeles. She considers art education an extremely valuable thing, to be present in the lives of kids, and she loves working with children to help them grow creatively.

Hannah Abell : DRAWING & PAINTING

Hannah is an artist who is passionate about painting, drawing, wood working and charcoal.  She loves experimenting with unique materials to create art from a non-traditional perspective.  She has worked with students of all ages and has a passion for mentoring students in their creative goal reaching.  Her focus is encouraging students to utilize their imaginations to develop a love for art and creativity.
