“Clayful Creations” Ceramics Workshop
November 21st- January 16th (There will be no class on Nov. 28, Dec. 26 & Jan. 2nd.)
K-6th Grade Art Course / Thursdays 12:30pm-2:00pm / $99 / 6 week session
This hands on ceramics class will inspire young artists to sculpt their ideas into creative structures, shapes and forms. Students will discover a variety of sculpting techniques, glazes and clays. Students will work with an array of kid-friendly molding materials from air dry, firing and alternative clays. Students will develop and transform their artistic ideas from drawings to 3-Dimensional models. Projects will include pinch pots, figure sculptures, musical instruments, coils, and slab bowls among an array of other creative forms.
“Painted” Drawing & Painting Workshop
Novemeber 8th- December 20th (There will be no class on November 29th.)
K-6th Grade Art Course / Fridays 9:30 am-11:00am / $99 / 6 week session
“Painted” is an exceptional drawing and painting class using both dry and wet art mediums. Students will work with charcoal, acrylic, watercolor, ink, and guache; each week learning the basics of expressionism and abstraction through various painting techniques. Students will experience, hands on, how other artists apply various painting and drawing methods to express ideas. The final outcome will be a development of each student’s own personal style and a confidence in the expression art making.
